Catina Adams

La Trobe University

Catina Adams is a Midwife and Nurse academic and has worked as a Maternal and Child Health nurse in Victoria for 15 years. She coordinates the Child, Family and Community Nursing course. She submitted her PhD in May 2022, which is examining how the Enhanced Maternal and Child Health program supports women who are experiencing family violence. Her research interests include Family Violence; Child, Family and Community Nursing practice; family inclusive practice; Scholarship of Teaching and Learning; online learning; telehealth; and Clinical Governance. 

In 2015, she was awarded a Churchill Fellowship, which was a 4-month travel fellowship to the UK, Canada and the US to study the Nurse-Family Partnership.
