Innovate Communicate

Founder/Director of Innovate Communicate, Claire is a marketing-communication professional with a passion for innovation, inclusion and positive change. With science and communication qualifications and extensive experience, she began her career as an environmental scientist conducting fisheries research in cane drains. (She’s not afraid of mud!)

Claire has worked in the innovation ecosystem for over 20 years and her current focus areas are: the environment, agriculture, health, technology and defence sectors and gender equity (both in STEM and society). Claire is also the Founder/Director of Cowork Coplay, a startup social enterprise providing coworking with childminding for Defence partners and civilians. Before getting into business, Claire worked for state and federal government departments, CSIRO and universities in Australia and the UK. She has built online businesses from an idea, been part of the winning team of an entrepreneur accelerator program (with Investible) and run various community events and coworking programs.
