Marg Rogers

Dr Marg Rogers is a Senior Lecturer in the Early Childhood Education team within the School of Education.  Marg is the Course Co-ordinator of the Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Primary) course. Marg is the lead researcher for the funded Early Childhood Defence Program project (ECDP). This team, along with their Steering Committee of stakeholders has developed research-based, free, online resources for early childhood educators, parents and family/social workers to better support young children from Australian military families. This project is currently undergoing control trials to improve and adapt the resources.

Marg also leads a transnational study called 'Early Childhood Educators work within a highly regulated environment' with Professor Fabio Dovigo (Denmark and Italy), Dr Astrid Mus Rasmussen (Denmark), Associate Professor Laura Doan (Canada) and Dr Khutana Dolidze (Georgia).

Marg is a co-investigator in a multi-university study with Associate Professor Wendy Boyd, Southern Cross University and Professor Margaret Sims, Macquarie University, about Covid-19 and remote-learning in early childhood services.

Marg is an ECR with the UNE-led Regional Australia Mental Health Research and Training Institute (RAMHeaRT) which aims to build place-based research capacity to improve mental health in regional, rural and remote Australia through the Regional Universities Network (RUN).
